I really enjoyed reading this book. Adam Gidwitz decided "Hey, let's spice up the world of fairytales with some blood, 'eh?" I think is you hate reading those kissy fairytales that always end in the same way, then read this book! It ends happily, but it has so many twists that you'll be reading this the whole night! In this story, Adam recreates Hansel and Gretel, that sweet story about the kids who get themselves fat and trick an evil cannibal witch. If you like a story in which the girl cuts off ehr middle finger as a key, where their parents cuts off their heads and rubbed the blood all over a statue, and where a man sticks his hands inside of girls and eats their souls and intestines, well then, you'll like this book! P.S. It's a quick read!
